This project is about showing that reused and remade clothing doesn’t have to fit to a binary or a certain predefined style. It doesn’t have to look like it’s been remade, it can look powerful, pretty or something totally different.
In this project, I treated these pieces not as remade, but as any other piece. By photographing them in a similar way high-end clothing gets displayed and advertised, I stripped the clothes of their ‘‘used and remade’’ label.
Doing so, I hope to let the pieces speak for themselves and let them create their own label.
